We have also had problems with Nationwide Internet Banking for most of Tuesday.. We have lost faith with Nationwide's Internet only accounts and have chosen to place a maturing bond with Alliance & Leicester as they are always able to transfer into 'internet only' accounts in the branch.

My wife has done the same with her account and can't log on. We have phoned the help line but calls are not getting through. There is no message on the internet site to say that there is an error, but when we try to sign on, the details are not accepted. We have checked the site for for plishing etc and checked the security icon. all is OK.

Just opened another current account (Flexaccount) with Nationwide to use as a donor for the NatWest £200 switch offer. It's the first time I've opened another current account with the same bank. Do I need to register that specific account for internet banking, or should it automatically appear next to my original account in the app in a few days time?

Nationwide also do telephone banking, last time there was a problem I registered for this just in case I had a problem with the internet anking in the future. Might be worth registering for that Paul incase you get stuck again, you can check transactions (only about 8 though) and you can transfer money which is the bit I really wanted.

Everyone I know with Nationwide Internet Banking was locked out of their Nationwide Internet Banking accounts last Tuesday. The branches appear to know nothing and there has been no on-line apology. My partner and I have had Nationwide accounts for over 30 years including a mortgage, current account, savings and credit card. We've always used the banking app on our mobile phones and can see all our accounts regardless of who's name they are in.

Register for Forum. « 1 2 3 ». Posts: 6,334. In my experience, they are pretty good. Pros: * Good customer service. * Good online banking. * Free (or almost free) use of debit card abroad. But ... their current account isn't really designed for people who are in credit, as it pays 0% interest, which is rubbish.

Nationwide internet banking - can't register??? ginvzt Posts: 4,878 Forumite. 13 May 2008 at 8:02AM. I was just wondering if anyone else had problems trying to register for Nationwide internet banking. I first tried to register mid April. We have a mortgage with them and wanted to view the details. Haven't recieved anything, so gave them a call.
